How do authors come up with story ideas when YOU have no idea what to write about?
I’m sure you’ve been there. You’ve read a really good book with such an interesting concept, but when you sit down to write something as exciting, you’re suddenly struggling to find story ideas.
When you finally come up with a story idea, you start doubting yourself. How do I know if my story idea is good? You turn off your laptop and decide to try again later, perhaps next weekend when you have more time to write.
Good story ideas that haven’t been used are not easy to find
Fortunately for you, you don’t need a unique idea to come up with a unique story.
You are the unique component of any story you write, and that’s why you are the story idea generator that you need. When you find a story idea that you love and that you can’t wait to start working on, it doesn’t matter if it’s a new idea or not.
Readers, after all, love to read stories that are similar to ones they already love. Your job is to find your best story idea and then write it.
How to come up with story ideas that you’ll LOVE
Imagine if you had your protagonist, story setting and your all-important main conflict all lined up. You’d have everything you need to start plotting your story and you’d actually finish writing it this time because you won’t have to wonder how to stick with a story idea anymore. When you find the right idea, you absolutely need to see it through. Pretty cool, right?
So how do you do all that?
Your Best Story Idea workbook is not like the others. I won’t be telling you what you should write about, but instead, I help you find an idea that combines everything you love about stories. Sure, I love writing prompts as much as the next writer, but this story idea will be tailor-made for you.
After going through this workbook, you’ll know…
… why the right kind of problems are they key to an interesting story

Who am I to tell you how to generate story ideas and what to write about?
I’m Katri and I’ve been teaching important storytelling skills to aspiring authors for three years now. I also teach creative writing classes in person and I’m a published author, so I’d like to think I’m the right person to be guiding you on your writing journey. The only thing that gets me more excited than talking about writing is seeing a raven in the wild.
